Housing NZ House Relocation.
Housing NZ and the Department of Corrections have been refurbishing houses at Rolleston Prison which have been saved from demolition in the Red Zoned areas of Christchurch. The houses are stripped out and reinstated to current building code requirements with new cladding, new double glazing, insulated walls and ceilings and bathroom and kitchens upgrades.
When the houses are ready, we take over and arrange the transportation of the houses into Christchurch and onto a Housing NZ owned section, where we construct a new foundation for the house to be lowered onto. We install all new drains, water and power mains, new decks and steps, fencing, clothes lines, garden shed, Garage, Letterbox, curtains, heat-pump, gardens, topsoil and grass.
The finished product is a great house on a safe and secure site ready for a new family to move into.
