Big job or small, same crew
Renovations don't come in one size. A bathroom that needs redoing and a whole-house rework are the same trade, just different scale — and we'd rather quote both than pretend only the big ones are worth our time.
If it's genuinely an hour's work we'll say so and point you somewhere better. Anything beyond that, we'll come and price it.
Our own builders, not whoever's free
A lot of companies sub the whole job out. We don't. We're the main contractor and we carry our own team of builders who do the work themselves. Specialist trades — electrical, plumbing, painting — we coordinate on top.
On a renovation that matters more than on a new build. You're living in the house while we're in it. You want the same faces turning up, people who know what's already been opened up and what's going back.

On site, properly, with a tape. Renovations turn up surprises and the only way to price one honestly is to see it.
3. A fixed written price
Line by line, so you can see what you're paying for and stage anything that can wait.
4. We do the work
A start date we hold to, our own builders on the tools, and the house left liveable while we're in it.
